Our products are very popular and we get asked a lot of questions about them. Just to save everybody some time, we've compiled this list of questions that we get asked a great deal, so you might find an answer to yours here.

Which subscription level do I need?

If you want to use SkyDemon in your aircraft for guidance while flying, you'll need the navigation upgrade. If not (you want to use SkyDemon for planning only) you just need a basic subscription.

What country is this for?

We currently support most of Europe and the whole of the USA, with support for further countries still in development. For more information, see the charts page. You can still use the software in your country even if we have no chart for it, but only the route planning and navigation facilities will work and none of the mapping.

I don't see my country listed. What can I do?

You'll just have to keep an eye on the charts page to see when data becomes available. If you have a head for data, you have access to the relevant official publications, and would like to create your own charts, please get in touch with us.

This looks great! Can I throw away my charts now?

No. This software is intended to be used as an aid for planning and as an aid while flying and it does not replace any of your primary tools or cockpit instruments. We're not certified by the CAA or any other governing body, and neither is our data.

You should always check any calculations and data displayed, and suggestions made, against your own calculations and charts.

Can I use SkyDemon software on more than one computer?

Yes; SkyDemon is licensed personally so as long as it's just you using it, you can install it on two computers.

I have a tablet computer in my plane. Can I use in-flight functionality on it?

Yes! If you purchase the navigation upgrade for your subscription, the software can be used for in-flight navigation on PCs, iPads and Android devices.

What hardware or operating system do I need to run this?

To run SkyDemon Plan, you'll need a PC running Windows 2000 or later.

To run SkyDemon for iPad, you'll need any model of iPad.

To run SkyDemon for Android, you'll need a minimum Android version of 3.2 (Honeycomb).

To run SkyDemon Mobile, you'll need a device running Windows CE 4.2+ or Windows Mobile 5.0+. It will need GPS functionality, obviously.

To run SkyDemon Web, you'll need a PC or Mac running Internet Explorer, Chrome, FireFox or Safari with the Microsoft Silverlight plugin.
