The What's Here experience has been redesigned to present information better
(iOS, Android, PC)
The initial What's Here screen and its subscreens have been redesigned, and all available information laid out in a more intuitive way. The airspace stack is now scrollable too.
-
Aerial Photography now includes all airspace and other aeronautical data
(iOS, Android)
You still have the choice between satellite, roads and (on Android) terrain basemaps over which our aeronautical data is displayed.
-
Approach Information screen runway information redesigned
(iOS, Android, PC)
Runway information is now displayed more pictorially for easier absorption of the essentials, and in Germany and the USA, TORA/TODA/ASDA/LDA are now available.
-
Find Best Altitude for Flight is now available on PC
(PC)
This has been available on the mobile versions for some time, and is accessed from the Weather menu.
-
Night-only airspace is now displayed automatically if you are planning or flying at night
(iOS, Android, PC)
Previously, you had to manually opt in to showing night-only airspace. This is a failsafe designed to stop you from ever being surprised by airspace if you have not turned it on.
