SkyDemon 1.3 Released

A new version of SkyDemon has been released, with many new features and improvements to both products. It is available for free download to all customers and people wishing to give it a 30 day trial.

SkyDemon Plan gains compatibility with SkyMap and Garmin Aera devices, printing of TAF, METAR and NOTAM briefing, automatic extended runway centreline plotting and import of GPX routes.

SkyDemon Mobile has had a comprehensive user interface overhaul, making better use of screen space on devices with all shapes and sizes of display. Chart loading and redraw times are now faster and the graphical quality of maps is much improved. Extended runway centreline plotting is now fully automatic, including the glideslope, and times can now be switched from zulu to local (device).

Both products benefit from changes to the navigation warnings system which make warnings much clearer, and introduce audible alerts.
