Chart Coverage Improvements

Since initial release we have expanded the regions covered by our charts. This effort is being undertaken by both in-house staff and pilots living and flying in the countries we are adding support for. Recent chart additions include Italy, Czech Republic, Slovenia and Slovakia, with more countries on the way.

We have also started publishing "basemap" charts which feature airfields, towns, radio navigation aids and airways reporting points but generally do not include airspace or obstruction data. These allow you to make use of the route planning and weather briefing facilities of SkyDemon even in countries where full charts do not yet exist. Basemaps are currently available for Spain, Switzerland, Hungary, Norway and Austria.
