SkyDemon 1.2 Released, Charts Updated

Today we released the 1.2 version of SkyDemon, alongside new charts for all supported countries. The new software requires new charts to support some of the new features.

The new features in SkyDemon include:

In-Flight navigation, which was previously only available in the mobile product
GUI data editor for easily creating your own charts or adding to others
Simulation mode, allowing you to see how SkyDemon navigation facilities work by controlling the aircraft with the keyboard
Bad weather warnings displayed as clouds on the main map
Airways can now be toggled between airspace view and centreline view for each airspace class

SkyDemon Mobile has also been improved in this release, gaining new instruments, configurable aircraft symbol appearance and the ability to display terrain shading in heading-up map orientation. Loading time has also been improved and a Direct To option added.
