SkyDemon Mobile is the only handheld aviation GPS unit where the functionality is available to try for free, from the comfort of your own home.

SkyDemon Plan, our software for flight-planning on your home PC, is available as a free 30 day trial from this website. It includes a simulator which provides a virtually identical experience on your home computer to the one you get when planning, briefing and navigating with one of our devices.

In our simulator you can "fly" the aircraft around using your computer keyboard, steering it and controlling its altitude. You can even jump forward a mile at a time if you are impatient. Most of the user interface functions exactly the same as our SkyDemon Mobile devices, from the warnings displayed to the extended centreline guidance, NOTAM and weather briefing and approach plates.

Once installed, start the SkyDemon Plan software, load any charts you wish to use then press Shift-F5 to start the simulator. You'll be shown instructions for how to control the aircraft.
