Hi all
I've been using the original SD on my main pc with no problems.
I downloaded the new version to my 2nd pc and picked up my key from the website. Again, no problems.
I then updated my main pc with the new version and I got this error: "An item with same key has already been added". Planning a route, maps, etc are all possible but I can't get TAFs/METARSs etc.
Reading the web page it appears that I need to use the same key that I downloaded for my 2nd pc, so I copied that one and pasted it into the correct folder on my main pc. No joy.
Can anyone let me know how to lose the error message please?

The error you reported was to do with custom data interfering with SkyDemon charts, and has in fact been replaced with something much more helpful in the latest beta release ready for the next public release. I don't think it's anything to do with your activation key.I think you'll need to contact us by email, and then send us the activation key you're using so we can investigate. If it's not letting you get taf/metar then it's almost certainly a stale key that needs to be regenerated.

That was quick!
Ok, I've just tried again and now I can get Tafs, Metars etc but I still have my .NET error.
The additional error in the Messages box which said something along the lines of "unable to get data, this is probably due to an out of date key or wrong key" has gone.
If it's just a dud error message then I can live with it, I'll just click continue every time.
But sure I can mail you the key - what's the email addy?
Great program, btw.....

Ok, the remaining error is (I think) nothing to do with your activation key. Does it give you detailed information? If so please post it here.

You won't see this error in the 1.4 version (a beta of which is already downloadable) but it's occurring because of a conflict, either between a SkyDemon chart and custom data or between two SkyDemon charts (rare). We did just update the Switzerland chart to remove a conflict, perhaps that's what you have installed.
