Hi,
Just saw the news entry about the AFE flight guide. I already own the 2012 one, but will certainly be interested if SkyDemon offers the 2013 one in a timely fashion. Is this the intention? Will the plates be updated based on AFEs updates? Are they printable? Also, didn't see any information in the news item on how you actually purchase this. |

Good idea and fairly reasonable price, how about a sample plate to play with? Any plans and price estimate for Pooleys?

Same topic,
1. Are the AFE plates georeferenced (as applicable)?
2. Can you download them it toto to both iPad and PC?
3. Is there an annual update cost, or do you need to purchase in full each year? (If you don't can you continue to use old, out-of-date plates originally purchased?)
Many thanks.

At first I could not find where to subscribe to this.
Heres how. Open SD iPad Plot a route (any route) Select plates Select any of the AFE ones and you will be prompted to subscribe Follow through to payment either paypal or credit card when complete open SD iPad again and logout via the setup menu close app reopen app login clear last route and plot a new one select plates select afe plate hey presto very handy and £20 is a bargain

Another query about the AFE (and other future) plates, will I be able to copy them to a PC (directly or throught another app such as GoodReader) so I can print them from a network printer if I do not have an AirPrint printer?

If you install AirprintActivator (Mac) or FingerPrint (PC), you can use AirPrint even if your printer isn't AirPrint capable.

You could always take a screen shot pic of them (Press top button and home button together) and then mail the pic to yourself.

So, after you download the afe guide to the iPad in skydemon.
1. Can you use the afe guide out side of skydemon in its own right? Is it indexed searchable? 2. If I do not buy 2013 plates can I still use 2012 plates?
Regards
Wayne
