I wonder if anyone can help. I have a Mio C320 which used to run Pocket FMS and I have tried to load Skydemon on it. I loaded pcoketmio and believe I got the error saying I needed to load Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0. (although I was not sure I needed to if PFMS worked). I downloaded this to the PC but could find no way to get it onto the SD card or Mio.

It would be great to have Skydemon on the Mio for open cockpit and warbirds whilst using ipad for enclosed touring aircraft. If any kind sole could provide assistance it would be much appreciated.

Cheers, Rich

Hi Rich,

I run SkyDemon on a Mio v735 so understand your problem. You need to install .NET compact framework which you can download from here http://www.mediafire.com/?mnxe9zd4g9szdbl

This is a .cab file which you should just be able to run on the device and it will install the necessary files.

Try this and see if SkyDemon runs. If it does, you may want to consider using a script to run the .NET CF installer on device boot-up as the system files will probably be wiped on device reset.

I hope this helps

The Mio C320 is not a very powerful device. It has difficulty running PFMS due to lack of memory and CPU performance, I doubt it will be satisfactory running SD.
