Hello

Is anyone looking at Air Data for Portugal?

If yes I would like to help, if not then I'd better start on my own :-)

Cheers

Nick

I do not know of anyone currently working on Portugal. We're working on Spain in-house.

If you'd like to develop the Portuguese chart we can help. We'll generate a basemap including all geographical features, the FIR, radio navigation aids and basic airfield data. You would then need to produce just airspace and obstruction data to make it safe, with the option of adding more detailed airfield data, sporting areas and other things that aren't quite so critical.

If you'd like to do this, please contact us directly. Thanks!

Hi there!

I'm a pilot from Viseu (LPVZ), Portugal and I started to use Skydemon a few weeks ago. I'ts an amazing software and we are disseminating among other pilots. The navdata and terrain in Portugal are very well performed. Only some airfields, airspace and VFR reporting points (inside TMA's of Porto, Lisboa and Faro) are missing but nothing serious. If you want we can help with this.

I noticed a few minutes ago that it's possible to create airspace, reporting points, airfields, etc. and this appear in the approach plate (in airfields case)...well done Skydemon team Wink

Any chance to edit the airfields that already came with SD? Because for example, the radio frequency of LPVZ is 122.70 not 122.30.

Regards

David

Please feel free to get in touch with us by email so that we can chat further about the Portugal chart and any input you might like to make. That would be most appreciated.
