Hi

I'm very happy with the new import function. Have waited for the possibility to have non Icao airfields from my country on the system.

I had a comma separated list with:

name,desc,latitude,longitude

I used http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/convert_input to convert it into a GPX file and then imported it to the system.

One wish:

In the desc field I have runway information etc. for the airfield. Is it possible to introduce a comment field on the waypoint menu to allow these info to be displayed when clicking the waypoints?

We don't currently have plans to add a comment field to user waypoints. If you have a list of airfields you should really convert them to SkyDemon format so they actually appear as airfields on the map, not as user waypoints. Your runway information would then appear too. We publish some information about the format we use for airfields, runways and frequencies at the URL below.

I agree completely BUT you need to implement automatic sync with SD mobile of such added airfields.
