UK disused airfield

Hi

since I love the program I already started adding stuff and since we can create customer data but not us it in the mobile version I exported it as Customer Waypoints. Those you should see in you Skydemon Mobile version as well.

The list is not complete but feel free to use it. Any suggestions, corrections and if if you have a list of more disused airfield or obstructions, please post it to this topic and I will add it to the file.

NavData for Germany

Hi Tim and all,

I tested SkyAngel since the very first available version and I'm absolutely speechless about this well thought out software for us pilots.

Since German NavData is not available for the public right now I'm willing to collect and maintain all these invaluable assets on a periodic basis.
I have access to the German AIP for regular updates of airspaces and other navdata. My Jeppview will be of importance as well to provide
the most accurate data possible.

Just let me know your thoughts how to proceed. If you know other reliable navdata sources please put them into this thread. Thanks.

I have an extensive list of Danish airfields, including small unlicensed fields, farms strips etc. formatted in a text file.

Can I send it to you to include it in future data releases?

Creating Data Files

I am creating a data file for some farm strips I use, how does that data then get syncronised to the mobile device ?

It doesn't appear to sync in the same way as the personal waypoints.

Sweden lakes missing

Hi,

First of all, I hadn't used SkyDemon for a while, so I decided to download the latest beta yesterday, and WOW! What an improvement to an already very good piece of software!

But, all the lakes in Sweden (and there is a lot of them) are missing, using latest air data. The log says something like "error loading sweden_lakes.skg" (I haven't got the devices with me right now, but I can post the exact message when I get home, if needed).

Portugal?

Incorrect airdata

I have just downloaded the evulation version of Skydemon Plan. The program looks very nice

and i will probably buy the real version. I im located in the south part of Sweden and i´ve noticed

incorrect airspace data. The TMA bounderies seem to be "all over the place".

There is also a long green "box" from south of Sweden towards Bornholm, what is that?

Sample custom data

Does anyone have a sample custom data .csv file I could look at? I had a go at creating my own data file as per the tutorial, i.e. entering some data in a spreadsheet, then converting it to .csv, but the Skydemon software says 'input string not in correct format'. Just thought if I could see a file that works, I could work out what was wrong & correct it.

Data for southern Africa

Does anyone know how or where I can get data for southern Africa? I am looking to use the software in South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Angola, Malawi, DR Congo, Tanzania, Mozambique? I saw on another thread that it might be possible to use x-plane gaming software, but this is not in .csv format. Is there a way to easily change this?

I'm pleased to announce that we now have full, first-class data for France and this will be available to download starting with this week's release.

Town names missing in 0.9.8

Installed 0.9.8 today, both Plan and Inflight and now town names in Sweden are gone.
I downloaded the latest skydata files, but no difference, still missing towns.
