Map not showing

Hi,

I have loaded SkyDemon onto my PND - probably a chinese one.

The program apppears to be working in bare-bones mode - I can access the dialogue boxes, make changes to the units etc, but the UK map is not showing, though it is present in the folder structure.

Digging around in sysinfo I find "Software Version : V3.0.9.26"

I guess that if this Version number relates to CE (I don't know whether it does), then this PND won't run SkyDemon properly - or am I doing something else wrong?

I've just done a "Resync" from the desktop, and the system is now looking for satellites, so maybe I posted too early......:blush:

I doubt that version number refers to CE. The fact that SkyDemon started at all means it should work all the way.

In SkyDemon, tap the clock to bring up the messages window. Does it say anything useful in there?
