I just discovered that if I uninstall .NET framework 2.0, then not only does SD Mobile seem to work, but also various menu commands that crashed before now don't.

Does anyone know whether this Framework is actually necessary?

I have a Mac and wanted to update my SD Mobile charts. The Sync>>Update Device Charts menu command says I must look for chartdata.skdc but that file is not there on the device. What am I doing wrong?

I have looked at several Chinese devices but they all seem very similar with average brightness and contrast.
