Searching the internet I've seen on a website that SD also has UK CAA VFR charts. I would rather use the CAA VFR chart then the SD chart. Does anybody know where to find these. Any help is much appreciated.

What that actually means is that you can display the SD charts with airspace detail in the same format as on CAA charts. To check; click on 'charts' on the menu bar. A window will open and you select the UK charts, then there is a tab at the bottom of the window which gives a drop down menu. Select UK CAA on there and your SD charts will display ATZs, CAS, MATZ etc in the familiar CAA format

I think the 'UK CAA VFR charts' you are referring to are the 'style' of charts as oposed the the actual CAA charts.
When in Skydemon Plan, go up and click on 'Charts' in the menubar. At the bottom of the new window you will see 'Chart Style' where you can change to different styles.
You can also toggle the styles from within skydemon when using your device by:
Blue icon > Charts > Map features

Thanks for the advise and it did help but I was actually thinking of the Aereonautical Topographical chart like you find on Memory map or Pooleys, etc. like the 1:250000 or 1:500000

I suspect you are looking for the raster CAA charts that Memory-Map and other use. Skydemon uses vector charts built from gazetteer data and whatever Tim and the boys put in. As NJE says, in SD, chart type means 'style'.
