Us Heli pilots often don't fly to airfields- just waypoints we create from Post Codes. Can the mobile version be enhanced to allow creation of a user waypoint from Lat Long and then the app enhanced to allow routing or direct to a user waypoint?

I wd say you can do that now.

In PC version, right click to create waypoint; same again for next one. Click first one then next one and you have a leg between them.

In mobile, tap & hold screen at desired point and you will be given option to start route from here. Do same for next point and you will be given option to append to route. Simple as that.

All these can either be saved or just temporary for that flight.

Also, I believe that in the Waypoint Finder in SkyDemon Mobile you can actuall type in a lat/lon and it will accept that.

Thanks for the response. I can see that the feature exists in the PC version but can't work out how to create a waypoint in the Mobile version from Lat Long..tried entering the lat long in the find waypoint as you suggest Tim..any clues? Roger

If you want to actually create a labelled waypoint at a position, you'll need to do it with SkyDemon Plan and sync with your device.

If you want to plan a route to a lat/lon position you can enter the position in the waypoint finder window in NDDMMSS WDDDMMSS format.
