Some of you may have noticed that we have recently been georeferencing instrument approach charts. These charts can now be overlaid on the main map, providing a useful reference when conducting an instrument approach. In the future it is likely we will georeference SID and STAR charts too.
The forthcoming version of SkyDemon presents a more structured interface to access these charts, and helps with normal IFR workflow whether conducting an approach or a departure. We've also cleaned up the naming and sorting of most IFR documents.
We've also moved all IFR functionality behind one main switch in the Planning Options, so if you never fly IFR, you'll never see any of it. If you've previously turned on the display of IFR charts, this option will be turned on for you when you upgrade.
